Join us in our support of the Siyabonga Children's Home. For every purchase made, labtru™ gives 5% of the proceeds to the Joan of Ark Trust which caters to the needs of the children in the Home.
Dating back 30 years, the founding parents Manuel and Lorraine Ribeiro have taken in over 150 children. Their journey began as foster parents in 1988, when after taking in their first foster child, they were approached by Child Welfare to take in several more.
Several years later, the Ribeiro property was donated to the Siyabonga Children’s Home Trust and subsequent fundraising efforts culminated into the construction of the Home, which has been increased over the years to its current capacity of housing 36 children.
